Day 1Havana/Varadero
Meet your fellow travellers and CEO at an 8am briefing before departing Havana towards Varadero. En route, visit of the city of Matanzas and the Pharmaceutical Museum. Continue to the Cueva de Saturno cave for a chance to snorkel in the crystal clear waters and then stop at Playa Coral for more snorkelling before arriving to Varadero.
Please note that the first day of this tour is a travel day and involves an early departure from Havana, so arriving on time to your start location is important to being able to join the tour for the day's journey. We recommend booking a pre-tour accommodation in Havana if not otherwise completing another G Adventures tour that finishes on the same day.

Matanzas visit, Cueva de Saturno and Playa Coral snorkelling
Visit of the city of Matanzas where we will stop at the Pharmaceutical Museum, a 19th century pharmacy that has been preserved along with a fascinating collection of books and tools. Continue to the Cueva de Saturno, a cenote (cave) where we walk down steps into the large cavern. Marvel at the stalactites and enjoy a swim in the crystal clear waters. After, stop at Playa Coral beach for some included snorkelling.
