Arrive at any time. Opt for an arrival transfer through the G Adventures-supported Women With Wheels project.

Your Welcome Moment: Welcome Moment - Meet Your CEO and Group

Your opportunity to meet your CEO and fellow travellers, and learn more about your tour. Opt to join the group for a local meal afterwards. Don't forget to see the notice in the lobby (or ask reception) for the official time and place to meet up with the group.

Women With Wheels Transfer
Indira Gandhi International Airport – Delhi

Transfer by a G Adventures-supported project, Women With Wheels. This program provides safe and reliable transport for travellers, while providing a dignified livelihood for local women who once lacked financial opportunities.

Day 2Delhi

Explore the real Delhi by bicycle, auto-rickshaw, metro, and on foot. Enjoy key highlights of Colonial Delhi followed by Old Delhi bustle as we manoeuvre the busy lanes of the Chandni Chowk markets to Jama Mosque. This afternoon, continue to the Gandhi ashram Museum, and then take a walk in "Little Tibet" settlements of Majnu ka Tila.

Multi-Transport Delhi Highlights
Delhi

Discover the city of Delhi on this multi-transport exploration including bicycle, metro, auto-rickshaw and on foot. Start the day cycling through colonial Delhi viewing Talkatora Stadium, the President's Palace, and the Dandi March Statue of Gandhi leading his fellow people. Continue towards the war memorial arch known as India Gate. Ride up Janpath Road to Connaught Place and climb down into the caverns of the famous Agrasen ki Baoli (stepwell) which reflects the age-old Indian water harvesting techniques from the indigenous civilization. Hop on the Metro to Old Delhi and wander through the narrow lanes of the Chandni Chowk markets to Jama Mosque, designed by the same architect of the Taj Mahal. Admire India's largest mosque, its golden spires, and mesmerizing reflecting pool. Next jump on a local cycle rickshaw and enjoy the exciting ride to Khari Baoli spice market and learn about the spices and their use in Indian cuisine.

Gandhi Ashram and Museum visit
Delhi

Visit the National Gandhi Museum which is an important resource centre for study and a perfect place to learn more about this fascinating man. The centre features a collection of original relics, journals photographs, gallery's, art, and other memorabilia connected with Mahatma Gandhi.

Majnu Ka Tila - Little Tibet Visit
Delhi

Visit Majnu Ka Tila or "LIttle Tibet" in North Delhi. Walk this vibrant neighbourhood and learn about it's fascinating history and culture of the Tibetans who took refuge here.

Day 3Delhi

The day is yours to explore on your own. Opt for a morning cycling tour in the oldest parts of Delhi; Mehrauli and Qutab Minar, or visit monuments or Craft Museums before the tour ends at 5pm. Any travellers continuing on to another G Adventures tour, your CEO will help facilitate the joining of the new group starting in the evening.
