Take a full day excursion to Glaciers National Park and the Perito Moreno Glacier. Opt to take a boat up to the front of the glacier.
In the early morning, transfer to Los Glaciares National Park with a local guide. Once in the park, go on the "Curva de los Suspiros," and leave the vehicle to have a first view of the Perito Moreno Glacier. The delightful route will take you around the Rico arm of the glacier before arriving at the walkways and scenic viewpoints of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Enjoy free time to appreciate various viewpoints then opt to take a boat up to the front of the glacier.
Please note: The excursion may be shared with non-G Adventures travellers.
Transport is return trip to/from Glaciers National Park. Transport time each way is approx 1.5 hrs.
Get out there and explore the natural wonder that is the Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the world’s few “advancing” glaciers. Head to the southern end of Los Glaciares National Park, where Moreno's 60m (197 ft) wall of ice sporadically chokes off the narrow “Canal de los Tempanos” (Iceberg Channel) creating a natural ice dam, which eventually explodes in a dynamic display of force.
Please note this tour does not include walking on top of the glacier.
Embark in the floating dock in the south arm of Argentino Lake, and navigate along the Iceberg Channel towards the front wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier where most of the ice calving takes place. This boat trip, which lasts approximately one hour, is one of the most popular excursions and is not to be missed.

The scenery around El Chaltén is spectacular and the best way to enjoy it is by hiking through it. Today's hike is a full-day to Rio Blanco Base Camp and Laguna de los Tres vantage point for an absolutely stunning view, weather permitting, of the complete FitzRoy Massif. Mt Guillaumet, St Exupery, Mermoz, Juarez, and other mountains form the jagged group.

Hike through the Cerro Torre Valley (Los Glaciares National Park; grade: easy to moderate) to Torre Lake and Glacier for a close view, weather permitting, of the awesome spires that make up Cerro Torre (3,102m/10,178 ft) and its neighbours. A treacherous cap of ice known to climbers as “the mushroom” tops this slender needle of granite. Stop by the lake for some relaxation upon your return.
