Catch the train to New York City. This afternoon, enjoy a photo walk with a local photographer through the trendy Bushwick neighbourhood. With vibrant street art, a German beer history, and a melting pot of culture, we'll have numerous opportunities for some great shots. We'll also visit a few local shops for tastings and samples.

Set out on a guided photo walk with a locally renowned photographer in Bushwick, a working-class neighbourhood in Brooklyn known for its street art, gritty urban sensibility, and melting pot of culture. Gain a greater understanding of photography in front of an urban backdrop and, along the way, stop at local shops to taste some of the area’s most famous treats. Photography, graffiti, and food never came together so beautifully.
Enjoy a full free day (and night) to explore the city that never sleeps. Opt to stroll Times Square or Central Park, catch a show, visit museums, the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, or the 9/11 Memorial.

Soak in stunning views of New York and beyond from the top of one of the most famous landmarks in the world. The Empire State Building's Observatory is a main attraction of New York's skyline, stretching 1,250 ft (381m) high.
Pay a visit to “Lady Liberty”, dedicated in 1886 and a gift from the people France. Cruise through New York Harbor and stop off at Liberty Island to get a closer look at this iconic woman meant to welcome new immigrants to the United States. Opt to ride to the top and take in stunning views of the city.
Remember 9/11 on a visit to Ground Zero. A Memorial and Museum have been created to commemorate those lost on 9/11.
Catch our train and continue on to Philadelphia, the City of Brotherly Love. Visit some of the American Revolutionary sites including the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall — where the Declaration of Independence and Constitution were signed.

Admire the Liberty Bell, once hung in the steeple of Independence Hall. Walk through the Liberty Bell Center and learn about the facts and myths of this cracked, 940 kg (2,080 lbs) bell, an enduring symbol of freedom.
Visit this notable park and delve into the history of the American Revolution and the nation’s founding. Stop off at Independence Hall—a UNESCO World Heritage Site— and see the location where the United States' Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were discussed and adopted. Explore more of the park and see the First Bank of the United States, the Liberty Bell, and Carpenters’ Hall.
Continue by train to the capital, Washington DC. This evening, enjoy a walk with our CEO along the National Mall with the opportunity to view its iconic monuments and memorials including the Lincoln Memorial and reflecting pool, Vietnam Veterans, Korean War, and WWII memorials.

This morning, we visit the National Geographic headquarters for a behind-the-scenes tour to learn about the history of the society, its explorers' past and present and what the future holds as they continue their pursuit of exploration, education, and storytelling to change the world. The afternoon is at your leisure. Opt to visit the many free museums, parks, or take a stroll past the White House.
Visit the stately headquarters of the National Geographic Society, located just a few blocks north of the White House. Enjoy insider access to learn about the colourful and important history of National Geographic, its past explorers, and what the future holds for this revered institution established in the 19th century. Be inspired by the Society’s belief in the power of science, exploration, education and storytelling to change the world.

Visit Arlington National Cemetery, a military cemetery in Arlington, Virginia. Wander through the tombs, see the eternal flame at John F Kennedy's grave, and visit the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, which represents the thousands lost in war. Spend some time at the memorial amphitheater or witness the changing of the guard.
Visit the monument dedicated to the 16th US president, Abraham Lincoln, who was instrumental in the abolition of slavery.
Visit 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and learn more about where the president of the US lives and works.
Visit the massive obelisk built to honour George Washington, the United States' first president. The Washington Monument is the world's tallest structure made entirely of stone and the world's tallest obelisk. Reopened after suffering damage from an earthquake and hurricane, visitors can opt to travel to the top for a gorgeous view of the city.
