Your opportunity to meet your CEO and fellow travellers, and learn more about your tour. Opt to join the group for a local meal afterwards. Don't forget to see the notice in the lobby (or ask reception) for the official time and place to meet up with the group.

Day 2Boston

Walk the Freedom Trail with a local history expert. It showcases some of the most historically significant sites that shaped the nation, and you'll learn about the beginnings of the American Revolution as it began in Boston. This afternoon is free to explore the city. Opt to visit Boston Common, Faneuil Hall, or try and catch a Red Sox game.

Opt to visit museums, go shopping at Faneuil Hall Marketplace, or visit Boston Common or Harvard square. If there's time, visit famous Fenway Park, home to baseball's Boston Red Sox, maybe even catch a game. For authentic Italian-American food and atmosphere, try Hanover Street in the North End.

Catch the train to New York City. This afternoon, enjoy a photo walk with a local photographer through the trendy Bushwick neighbourhood. With vibrant street art, a German beer history, and a melting pot of culture, we'll have numerous opportunities for some great shots. We'll also visit a few local shops for tastings and samples.

Your Journeys Highlight Moment: NYC Photo Walk

Set out on a guided photo walk with a locally renowned photographer in Bushwick, a working-class neighbourhood in Brooklyn known for its street art, gritty urban sensibility, and melting pot of culture. Gain a greater understanding of photography in front of an urban backdrop and, along the way, stop at local shops to taste some of the area’s most famous treats. Photography, graffiti, and food never came together so beautifully.

The afternoon is at your leisure. Opt to visit the many free museums, parks, or take a stroll past the White House.

Visit the stately headquarters of the National Geographic Society, located just a few blocks north of the White House. Enjoy insider access to learn about the colourful and important history of National Geographic, its past explorers, and what the future holds for this revered institution established in the 19th century.
