In the morning, visit G Adventures-supported G Hope Africa preschool. Enjoy a wildlife safari drive in Kruger and watch wildlife from the comfort of the touring vehicle.
Rise to the sounds of the wild. Transfer back to Johannesburg via a shared shuttle and arrive in the early evening, where the tour ends upon arrival at 6pm or earlier.

We will cruise out to the iconic Hole in the Rock and if the sea conditions permit, travel through it. You will be transported to the Hobbiton Movie set tour which is a visitor experience based at the original location where Hobbiton was created for the filming of the Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit films. Your tour starts with a drive through the picturesque sheep farm with its spectacular views across to the Kaimai Ranges. Your guide will escort you through the site recounting fascinating details of how the Hobbiton Movie Set was created. Hobbit holes, The Green Dragon Inn, The Mill and other structures can be viewed, and you will see how this beautiful piece of Waikato farmland was transformed into The Shire from Middle Earth. This flight encompasses two World Heritage National Parks in a tour of 200 kms amongst New Zealand's highest mountains and largest glaciers. A return scenic cruise across Lake Wakatipu to Walter Peak High Country Farm on board the vintage steamship TSS Earnslaw. On disembarking at Walter Peak, you’ll be welcomed and guided through the lakeside gardens to the Colonel’s Homestead for the dinner. Colonel’s Homestead features a stately ballroom and finely appointed rooms each featuring a roaring open fire to evoke a cosy atmosphere on colder evenings. The gourmet BBQ menu incorporates the fresh seasonal produce and local seafood so famous in the Central Otago region and surrounding coastal areas. All meat and seafood are cooked on the outdoor BBQ and rotisserie, in front of guests and served immediately. A locally influenced wine list and other beverages are also available to purchase at the bar. Following dinner, you will have an option of a brief farm show or relax at the bar instead, before returning on board the TSS Earnslaw to Queenstown.
