Cycle Tour in Soweto

This guided tour will take you through the vibrant streets of Soweto, giving you the opportunity to meet some of its diverse residents, see the sights, hear the music and even taste a local ‘home-brewed’ beer.
Popular stops include the Hector Pieterson Memorial and Vilakazi Street, where Nelson Mandela used to live.

Depart Johannesburg early to get a jump start on our long drive. Arrive late afternoon in time to freshen up for dinner.
An included lunch en route breaks up the drive. A long drive today means wildlife first thing tomorrow.
Private Vehicle
Settle in and scan the scenery from the convenience of a private vehicle on the way to the Greater Kruger Area and your accommodation for the night at the Awelani Conservancy.

Up bright and early for an included bushwalk, take this opportunity to stretch your legs after yesterdays drive and to get up close and personal with the nature around you.
Enjoy a picnic lunch after the walk and an afternoon rest back at camp. The afternoon includes a Safari drive to see the wildlife in the area.
Nature Walk - Awelani Conservancy
There are many ways to experience the African soil, but doing it on foot is one of the most exciting ways to immerse yourself in the Great Kruger area. Follow an expert guide into the bush. The area is surrounded with Baobab trees and other plants and bushes endemic to the area. This is a great place to visit for any avid birdwatchers.
Northern Kruger Wildlife Safari Drive
Hop in a 4x4 safari vehicle and get yourself one step closer to the surrounding nature. Be ready to spot large herds of elephant roaming in the area as well as groups of buffalo, antelope, hyena, and more.

Enjoy an early start this morning to enter the park and enjoy the full-day safari drive through the park in our touring vehicle in search of the Big Five.

Today is a day at leisure. Choose to do another morning or afternoon safari drive or instead flex your photography muscles and join a tour of the Panorama Route.
With lots to see and do, there is something for everyone to choose from. Opt for another full day in Kruger, or a half day perhaps if some relaxing is in order. Or visit the iconic Panorama Route during an optional full day tour.

Jane Goodall's Chimp Eden tour is the perfect way to capstone an epic safari in South Africa. Enjoy the remainder of the scenic drive back to Jozie, and arrive to the lodge early afternoon. Opt to join your CEO for a farewell dinner.

Chimp Eden Tour
Chimp Eden, run by the Jane Goodall Institute, is the first and only chimpanzee sanctuary in South Africa. This is a home for orphaned and rescued chimps as well as those displaced from their natural habitats in other parts of Africa. Tour the facility and visit viewing areas for two different 'camps' where a guide will introduce you to the chimps and tell you about their history and behaviour.
