Travel by bus and truck into the Amazon Jungle. Spend the next 4 nights in rustic wooden huts with a local Quichua family in their small village. Walk to a viewpoint and get a natural mud face mask treatment.

In the morning, experience a shamanic healing ceremony and a mock jungle marriage ceremony. Later, cycle to the nearby community of Shandia and discover the beauty of the Amazon with a member of the community as your guide.
Cando Community School Visit
Peek into a small school in the Cando community to see what a jungle school is like, and interact with the kids in a friendly match of soccer (or fútbol as the locals call it) during recess break. Learn how G Adventures and the Cando community helped to build this much-needed school – local children previously had to travel long distances to attend school in another area.
Your Hands-On Moment: Artisan Crafts Session
Develop some new artistic skills. Sit down with a few family members from your jungle host family and learn how to make crafts from various jungle materials such as leaves, seeds, and nuts.
Jungle Wedding Ceremony
Learn more about local traditions in a mock jungle wedding ceremony. Hey, what happens in the jungle stays in the jungle, right?
Shamanic Healing Ceremony
Take in some culture and witness a shamanic healing ceremony done by a local shaman. A volunteer from the group will participate, and the CEO will translate the ceremony as the shaman does a mock healing complete with chanting.
