Sailing Croatia to Italy
10 days, Zadar to Venice
When arranging your transportation, such as flights, please take into consideration the below time restrictions for joining and departing from your group. With these times, we have taken into account travel time to/from the airport in the given destination and required time for check-in or baggage collection/immigration.
Itinerary
Day 1Zadar
Arrival day. Join the group at 4pm for an important group meeting where you will meet the Chief Experience Officer (CEO), skipper, and the other group members.
Spend the night in the marina in Zadar, then hit the waters the next morning.
On our Italy/Croatia sailing trip the G Adventures Skipper/CEO will help you make a food kitty, where around EUR 75 per person, per week will be added to the kitty for small food items on board to cover breakfasts, lunches and the odd dinner.
Breakfasts and lunches are prepared by yourself, and most dinners are taken ashore at local restaurants.

The adventure begins today. Feel free to explore, but make sure you're back in time to meet the group. Your G Representative will review the details of your tour.

Days 2–4Kvarner Bay Islands
On the beginning of our sea voyage, we will explore the many coves, beaches and cliffs of the tranquil Kvarner Gulf islands.
Our 16m (52 ft) nimble yacht is the perfect platform to explore the gorgeous Adriatic islands and coast. Flexibility is key to adapt to local weather conditions, and the skipper will modify the itinerary to our advantage while sailing. Possible stops in the Kvarner Gulf include: Losinj, Molat, and Dugi islands.

Molat Island Excursion
Tour the many secluded coves of Otok Molat, a tiny slice of heaven with barely 200 inhabitants. Revel in the peace and quiet of this hidden gem as the waves gently lap our sailboat.
Dugi Island Excursion
The island of Dugi combines all that is magical about this part of the world, vibrant blue water, majestic beaches and cliffs, and charming seaside hamlets all ready for exploration. Thanks to it's designation as part of Kornati National Park, the pristine environment remains unspoiled for new visitors.
Lošinj Island Excursion
Lošinj has long been known as an island paradise, with evidence of inhabitants dating back 12,000 years. It's kept that reputation all this time, thanks to being one of the sunniest island destinations in the entire Adriatic. Lounge on the beaches, or visit one of the small towns for a taste of laid back island life.
Days 5–6Istrian Peninsula
Traverse the coastline of Croatia's Istrian peninsula, with the possibility of visiting the seaside villages of Rovinj and Pula.
Glide past the many villages of Croatia's sunny coastline. Depending on weather, visit the fishing village of Rovinj for spectacular fresh seafood, or tour the various architectural styles and Roman ruins of Pula.

Pula City Excursion
Make land and visit the historic Croatian town of Pula, renowned for it's wine-making industry, and it's multitudes of ancient Roman buildings. Pick up some delectable beverages and visit the Pula Arena, one of the largest and most complete Roman arenas still in existence.
Rovinj City Excursion
Tour the charming fishing village of Rovinj. Tour the tightly wound streets of the old town, or take a bike ride along the coastline for some beautiful views.
Days 7–8Slovenia & Gulf of Trieste
Tour the various towns along the sunny Slovenian coast. Depending on weather and desire, potentially visit Koper, Piran, and Portoroz.
Experience some of Slovenia's must-see coastal towns, each with their own unique cultures and history. With unparalleled Roman ruins, delectable treats and bustling nightlifes, there's something for every traveller.

Piran and Portorož City Excursion
Visit the Slovenian sister towns of Piran and Portorož, each with their own unique atmospheres. Explore the Baroque and Renaissance architecture of Piran's narrow pedestrian walkways, then travel 5 minutes down the road to the glitz and glamor of Portorož and it's shining casinos and seaside resorts.
Koper City Excurison
Tour Koper, Slovenia's oldest and largest coastal city. Explore the city streets and spot various Venetian Gothic masterpieces such as the Praetorian and Loggia Palaces.
Day 9Grado/Venice
Explore the island settlement of Grado, before we sail for the storied city of Venice.
Explore the winding streets of Grado with their small town charm, before we prepare for bustling Venice. A perfect opportunity to pick up a last minute keepsake to immortalize the voyage.

Grado City Excursion
Visit Grado's many eclectic shops, bars, and restaurants and pick up a keepsake to forever remind you of this charming town. Head to the heart of town to visit the many ancient basilicas and experience the medieval architecture.
Free Time
Enjoy a final evening with the group either onboard or exploring the impressive streets and canals of Venice.
Day 10Venice
Depart after breakfast.
If you would like extra time in Venice after the sailing journey is finished, we recommend booking extra time.
