Please note that if you are travelling to Morocco between November and February, your tour will have a level of flexibility based off of winter weather conditions on roads in the mountains. Heavy snow is not uncommon, so plan on packing warmer clothing to suit conditions.
Welcome to Marrakech! We recommend arriving a couple of days early to fully explore this vibrant city.
Set off for Souk El Had this afternoon and dive head first into the culture with a walking food tour. Sample some of the best local flavours before continuing on to Taghazout where you can settle in and hang out with your new travel companions.
Today we make our way to Taghazout, where surfers and fishermen coexist and the scent of sea salt mixes with grilled sardines and aromatic mint tea. It’s a town of blue-and-white alleys, steep stairs, and rooftops that offer a front-row seat to some of Africa’s most legendary sunsets. Join a surf lesson and test the water before lunch, then relax or explore with free time.
This morning, set off for Sidi Kaouki, a sleepy surf town on the Atlantic coast where there's time to explore however you wish. Opt to learn about Argan Oil, a staple in the region, or stretch your muscles with yoga or surfing. Continue on to Essaouira for a short orientation walk, then check out your new surroundings with a free evening.
Enjoy free time to get to know the ramparts and rocky beaches of Essaouira further. No rest for the weary? Not true here — opt to pre-book the Traditional Hammam Experience and enjoy a spa experience that is ritual for the many of the locals.
Hit the road one final time and return to Marrakech. Even though your trip ends on arrival, make sure you take the time to take plenty of photos with newfound friends to commemorate the memories made. (Morocco scrapbook, anyone?)
