Today we make our way to Taghazout, where surfers and fishermen coexist and the scent of sea salt mixes with grilled sardines and aromatic mint tea. It’s a town of blue-and-white alleys, steep stairs, and rooftops that offer a front-row seat to some of Africa’s most legendary sunsets. Spend the afternoon however you wish with free time. Taghazout is a charming fishing village that is now also considered a surf haven. Take a dip in the water, explore the beach, or spend more time surfing the waves if you'er looking for something to do.
This morning, set off for Sidi Kaouki, a sleepy surf town on the Atlantic coast where there's time to explore however you wish. Opt to learn about Argan Oil, a staple in the region, or stretch your muscles with yoga or surfing. Continue on to Essaouira for a short orientation walk, then check out your new surroundings with a free evening.
