Arrive at any time.
There are no activities planned until an evening welcome meeting. If you arrive early, opt to visit nearby Freemantle, visit a vineyard at the Swan Valley Wineries, hit the beach at Cottesloe, take a day trip to Rottnest Island to spot the adorable Quokka, or explore the city at your own pace!

Your opportunity to meet your CEO and fellow travellers, and learn more about your tour. Opt to join the group for a local meal afterwards. Don't forget to see the notice in the lobby (or ask reception) for the official time and place to meet up with the group.
Day 2Perth/Kalgoorlie-Boulder
Depart early from Perth and head east through Western Australia to Coolgardie. Continue on to Kalgoorlie.
Drive to Kalgoorlie, the largest town in the region, founded during the gold rush in 1893.

Visit the Royal Flying Doctors and the Super Pit, an open-cut gold mine. Continue on to Esperance, known for its stunning setting combining the bush, beach and granite. Camp under the stars in a traditional swag (padded canvas bedroll).
Continue on to Esperance, taking in the blue ocean and white-sand beaches.

Travel to Cape Le Grand National Park and hike up Frenchman's Peak for spectacular views of the area. Swim in the turquoise waters of Lucky Bay and Hellfire Bay. Return to Esperance for the evening.
Get out and explore this gorgeous national park. Walk from Rossiter Bay to Lucky Bay and spend time enjoying the area. Visit Hellfire Bay and Thistle Cove before spending some free time enjoying the beaches or hiking around a little more.

Frenchman's Peak Hike
Look for markers at the base of Frenchman's Peak which point to the trail up this sloping 262m (860) high granite cone. Scramble over boulders and brace against the wind. This hike can be quite difficult, especially in the heat of the summer. Bring water, and wear a hat and sunscreen. Stand at the summit, take a photo and admire the gorgeous views across the park.

FreeJump into the clear, turquoise waters of Lucky Bay and enjoy the pristine, white sand beaches. This beach is recognized as one of the best in the world with the whitest sand in Australia.

FreeSpend some time splashing in the waves at Hellfire Bay. The massive waves seen from the shore lose momentum by the time the reach the bay creating a perfect place to swim.

The area is split evenly between red and wine production and includes big name grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Merlot, as well as Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay. Cheers, mate!
