Itinerary

Day 1Jackson/Yellowstone National Park

Arrive in time for your 8am welcome meeting in Jackson Hole. Travel to Yellowstone National Park and visit an area know as West Thumb Geyser Basin. Walk amid the geothermal, iridescent springs before visiting sites like Old Faithful in the Upper Geyser Basin. Set up camp and enjoy an evening together. Drive out the park to head to the campground. Set up camp and enjoy an evening together with your CEO and new friends.

Please ensure your flight arrival time us no later than 6am, in order to have enough time to make your 8am welcome meeting.

Travel through Yellowstone National Park, where the journey is just as remarkable as the destinations. With geysers, waterfalls, wildlife, and sweeping scenery around every bend, the day showcases the power of one of the world’s largest volcanic systems. Begin at the West Thumb Geyser Basin, walking among steaming geothermal features along the shores of Yellowstone Lake, where hot and boiling springs shimmer with iridescent hues. Keep an eye out for roaming bison and elk before continuing on to witness the iconic eruption of Old Faithful.

Day 2Yellowstone National Park

Awake amid the forest and breathe in the fresh air while having breakfast at camp. Hike the Mt. Washburn Trail, pausing along the trail for a packed lunch. In the afternoon, continue to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone to explore the South Rim, take in the iconic views from Artist Point, and walk to the brinks of Upper and Lower Falls. Return to camp in the evening to relax before dinner.

Settle in and scan the scenery on the way from camp to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone for a full-day visit and then return to camp in the evening.

Grand Canyon of Yellowstone Visit

Start with the 6.8-mile Mt. Washburn hike, gaining 1,394 feet in elevation and offering sweeping views from the summit. Enjoy lunch along the trail before continuing to the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone. Take a 1-mile walk to Artist Point for iconic views of the canyon and Lower Falls, then follow the South Rim Trail to the brink of Upper Falls. Conclude with a 1-mile round-trip walk to the brink of Lower Falls, descending 265 feet for a close-up look at the powerful falls.

Day 3Yellowstone National Park

Begin the adventure early today with a morning wildlife safari in Lamar Valley. The Lamar Valley is known for its high concentration of wildlife, including bison, elk, and elusive wolves and grizzly bears. Hike along trails in the area like Trout Lake and then travel to Mammoth Hot Springs. Explore the area and hike around the terraces. Then, continue to Norris Geyser Basin for a 2-mile walk. Finish the day with a drive to West Yellowstone stopping to view wildlife on the way.

Yellowstone Northern Loop Excursion

Spend the day exploring Yellowstone’s Northern Loop, known for its abundant wildlife, scenic valleys, and dramatic geothermal features. Begin in Lamar Valley, searching for bison, elk, pronghorn, and if you’re lucky, wolves or grizzly bears in this prime wildlife habitat. Enjoy a hike along trails in the area like Trout Lake or Hellroaring Creek Trail to the Suspension Bridge for a total of 4 miles. Continue to Mammoth Hot Springs to walk among its striking limestone terraces, then explore Norris Geyser Basin, hiking approximately 2 miles through one of the park’s hottest, oldest, and most dynamic thermal areas.

Day 4Yellowstone National Park/Grand Teton National Park

Today, explore one final highlight of Yellowstone National Park with a visit to Grand Prismatic Spring. Walk the Grand Prismatic Overlook Trail to take in the sweeping view of its vibrant colors. Later, journey south through Grand Teton National Park, pausing at scenic viewpoints for unforgettable photos of the dramatic mountain skyline. Arrive at camp in the evening and gather for a group dinner.

Enjoy your last opportunity to discover Yellowstone. Spend time at Grand Prismatic Spring and walk along the overlook trail to take in the sweeping views of its rainbow-colored waters and surrounding geothermal features. This iconic area showcases steaming vents and brilliantly hued hot springs set against the backdrop of the park’s forests.

Day 5Grand Teton National Park

Rise early to go to Jenny Lake in Grand Teton National Park. Spend free time along the shores exploring the trails on your own. Opt to hop on a boat ride across the picturesque lake. The afternoon brings more excitement with an adventurous and fun rafting trip on the Snake River.

Enjoy a guided tour along the Snake River and learn about the history and geology of the area. Pass by limestone cliffs and over class II and III rapids like The Lunchcounter and the Big Kahuna. Float down the river, keep an eye out for wildlife, and take in the stunning scenery!

Free Time
Grand Teton National Park Morning

This morning you will have free time in the Jenny Lake Area. Hike along any of the trails departing from the visitor centre or opt for a boat ride across the lake for some exploration of the shoreline and trails on the other side. Guided Hiking is not a permitted activity within Grand Teton National Park. Your CEO will provide you with all the necessary park, wildlife, trail, and safety information needed so that you and your new trail mates can discover Jenny Lake safely and enjoyably at your own pace.

Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center
Grand Teton National Park 1km

The Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center orients, educates, and inspires visitors to make their own discoveries within the park. Spend time enjoying the various exhibits at the Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center. Afterwards, walk the 1/2 mile to the Murie Ranch homestead. The Murie Ranch was a base camp for conservation leaders who advocated for the protection of American wilderness.

Jenny Lake and Cascade Canyon Hike

Choose to take the shuttle boat across Jenny Lake to begin the hike towards Cascade Canyon to Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point. (Round trip Length: 2.2 Miles, Total Elevation Gain: 450 Feet)

Day 6Jackson

Help break down camp this morning before being driven to the Elk Country Inn in Jackson where the tour ends upon arrival.

The group will arrive to the finish point in Jackson around 10am. Any domestic flights should be booked from 12pm onwards and any international flights should be booked from 1pm onwards.
