***PLEASE READ THE ENTIRETY OF THE TEXT BELOW AS THIS IS IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOUR ENTRY INTO BHUTAN***

GENERAL INFORMATION:
- Please note the Entry and Visa Requirements are the responsibility of the individual traveller. These may differ for the country you are visiting depending on your nationality. We keep the following information up to date as much as possible, but rules do change. It is important that you check for yourself with the Embassy of Bhutan. Please, keep in mind that all countries require passports valid for at least 6 months from the moment of departure from the country.
- You must have at least two blank passport pages available for each country you will visit on your tour. These are required for entry & exit stamps.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
- To apply for a Bhutanese visa, most nationalities must present an official Bhutanese Letter of Invitation (LOI).
- We require ALL travellers to complete the below form. This includes any travellers who do not require an LOI for their Visa or E-Visa application.

COMPLETING THE LOI FORM:
- Please submit the below information 40 days prior to your entry into Bhutan and you will be emailed your Bhutan Invitation Letter about 2-5 days before the trip start date.
- Input your name the same way it is in your passport. The information on the application form must match your passport (if you have 2 or more names - all of them have to be listed under "first name").
- If you have an umlaut or other character not recognised in the English alphabet in your name (ie. ü), please enter it in the longer form (ie. ue).

SCANNED PASSPORT FILE:
A clear and coloured scan of your passport in jpg or pdf format (minimum 250KB and maximum 1MB in size) - please include the adjacent page of your passport too. Please note the following:
- Black and white scans are not accepted by the State Migration Services
- All 4 corners must be visible
- No visible marks of red eye along with appropriate brightness and contrast to show natural skin tone
- The photo must have no visible flash/gloss/shine/shadows
- The original size of passport-sized photo scans must be 3x4 cm minimum and cannot be a photoshop version of the photo from the passport scan

PASSPORT SIZED PHOTO:
A scan of a colour, passport sized photo (taken within 14 days) in jpg or pdf format. All 4 corners must be visible.

** Please note, if you are travelling on any of the following trips: Nepal & Bhutan Explorer, The Best of India & Bhutan OR Himalayan Adventure: India, Nepal & Bhutan - as your flight into Bhutan is included, please add ‘FLIGHT DETAILS ARE PROVIDED BY G ADVENTURES' under the Arrival Airline Name and Arrival Flight Number sections **

For the following trips, you should fill out the form:
AHDT - The Best of India & Bhutan: Days 8-13
AHDB - Himalayan Adventure: India, Nepal & Bhutan: Days 15-20
ANKP - Nepal & Bhutan Explorer: Days 8-13
ANKPNS - Signature: Himalayan Kingdoms of Nepal & Bhutan: Days 8-15

NEXT STEPS:
In order to apply for the Bhutanese visa, we need the following information no later than 40 days before departure:
