Arrive at anytime.
There are no activities planned until an evening welcome meeting. If you arrive early, opt to visit nearby Freemantle, visit a vineyard at the Swan Valley Wineries, hit the beach at Cottesloe, take a day trip to Rottnest Island to spot the adorable Quokka, or explore the city at your own pace!

Day 2Perth/Geraldton
Enjoy a full day of highlights — visit the Pinnacles and Greenough Wildlife Park, an animal rescue facility. Continue to Geraldton on the Batavia Coast for the night.
Head out early for a day of highlights en route to Geraldton.

The Pinnacles Visit
The Pinnacles are formations jutting out of the sand in Nambung NP. Catch these stunning limestone formations in the right light and the unique landscape will stay in your memory for a long time.
Greenough Wildlife Park Visit
For more than 30 years, the Greenough Wildlife & Bird Park has rescued, rehabilitated and released many of Australia's most iconic creatures. Bring your camera on this visit to the park 20km (12 mi) south of Geraldton and learn more efforts to protect a menagerie of wildlife including emus, dingos, kangaroos, wallaroos, and crocodiles.

Visit the Principality of Hutt River, the oldest 'micronation' in Australia. See some coastal attractions before reaching Kalbarri. Opt to horseback ride, abseil, canoe or simply relax on the beach. Camp under the stars in a traditional swag (padded canvas bedroll).

Hutt River Province Visit
Hutt River seceded from Australia in 1970. This independent sovereign state consists of some 18,500 acres of rolling farmland and at last count, has a grand total population of 23 residents. Visit this quirky ‘micronation’, check out Mt Secession and Lake Serenity, have tea and check out the historical displays in the town of Nain.
Kalbarri National Park Visit
Travel 13km (8 mi) south of town to Kalbarri NP. Enjoy a hike along the path that hugs this stunning stretch of West Australian coast. Bring your camera and take great shots of cliffscapes, waves breaking, and if you're really lucky, whales breaching off shore. It can get quite hot here, especially during the summer months, so don't forget to bring lots of water!

This is a beach unlike any other. Shell Beach in Shark Bay of Western Australia is made up entirely of billions of tiny cockle shells.
Stroll along the 110km (68 mi) long beach, only one of two beaches like it in the world.

Visit Eagle Bluff and walk along the boardwalk. The area is named for the osprey that nest on the rock island just offshore.
