It's an early start this morning, as you transfer from Santiago to Valparaiso to join the G Expedition.
Opt to spend this time at sea out on deck or join one of the lectures or painting classes.
Enjoy a full day of exploring picturesque Caldera. Choose between visiting local museums or a local mine. Soak in the desert scenery.
Another day at sea gives you the opportunity to spend some time out on deck. Keep your cameras and binoculars on hand for scenery or wildlife viewing opportunities.
Enjoy a day in Arica. Opt to relax on the beach, or head out on a city tour and visit the San Miguel de Azapa Archaeological Museum.
Enjoy a day hike along the Kumano Kodo pilgrimage route. Reach the Hongu Taisha Shrine with the largest torii gate in Japan.
Enjoy a guided tour of Nazca desert cemetery and the potter's studio. Opt for a flight over the Nazca Lines (available for pre-purchase).
Enjoy getting a closer look at sea lions, penguins and seabirds with a Zodiac cruise to the nearby nature reserve.
Travel from the port in Lima to the airport for a short flight to the colonial city of Cusco set high in the Andes Mountains. Take a tour of the city to learn more about the history, soak in the architecture and the valley's atmopshere. Continue on to a hotel for the night in the Sacred Valley.
Spend the day getting to know the Sacred Valley a little better. Enjoy guided visits to the Incan ruins sites of Pisac and Moray with a visit to a local handicraft market. After, meet the women at the G Adventures-supported Ccaccaccollo community and Women’s Weaving Co-op. Learn about their ancient traditions. Stop in the indigenous village of Huchuy Qosco for lunch at the G Adventures-supported Parwa Community Restaurant. Enjoy a delicious lunch and know that your visit is helping to support a remote community. Later, visit the pre-Incan salt pans of Las Salineras and learn more about the Incas with a tour of Ollantaytambo ruins.
Rise early and journey to the Ollantaytambo station to catch the scenic train to Aguas Calientes, at the base of Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour of the Machu Picchu ruins and soak in the famous views. Enjoy free time to explore the ruins on your own before returning to Cusco for the night.
Fly to Trujillo and return to the Expedition. Opt for a guided visit to the ancient Chimu capital of Chan Chan. Wander this UNESCO site and marvel at the carvings and gain unique insight into the ancient history of the region.
Spend some time on board with your fellow travellers, while enjoying an optional painting class or photography workshop.
Disembark the G Expedition and catch a transfer from Salinas to Guayaquil city centre. The perfect launching point for a trip extension to the Galapagos Islands, and with easy connections to Quito, Guayaquil has a charm all of its own that few take the time to explore.

Cruise the magnificent waters of Port Stephens Harbour to see the friendly resident Bottlenose Dolphins play. Take in the sights of Tomaree and Yacaaba Headlands, Shoal Bay, Nelson Bay and the Northern Harbour. Your Field of Light experience begins with a hotel pick up and transfer to a remote desert location. Guests then have time to immersive themselves in the monumental light installation as they walk through Field of Light. As darkness falls and Uluru is thrown into silhouette, Field of Light, art installation by international artist Bruce Munro, illuminates. As far as the eye can see gentle rhythms of colour light up the desert creating several options for you to immerse in Munro's grand-scale experiential artwork taking one of the pathways. A fantastic opportunity to see the Atherton Tablelands. Your first stop this morning will be Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, where you will glide over and through world heritage rainforest, including time at the two rainforest mid-stations. After some free time in the village of Kuranda you will continue on the second part of your tour, the Kuranda Scenic Railway. As part of this unforgettable journey through a tropical paradise, you will spend time viewing the Barron Falls, a wonderful photo opportunity, before arriving at Freshwater Station. Please note that Skyrail Rainforest Cableway will be closed for maintenance for the first few weeks in October. As an alternative, we will visit Rainforestation and take Army Duck tour, followed by a traditional Pamagirri Dance Performance and guided Pamagirri Dreamtime Walk to give you a further inside into Aboriginal traditions and beliefs. Leave busy Brisbane for a full-day tour that showcases the natural beauty of North Stradbroke Island. You’ll start with a cruise across Moreton Bay to Dunwich. Spend your morning at Brown Lake and drive through the Blue Lake National Park to Main Beach. This is perfect stop for swimming, shell collecting and photographs. Later head to Point Lookout’s North Gorge where an abundance of marine life can be easily spotted. Aussie lunch barbecue will keep you going as we’ll continue to Amity in search of the island’s population of wild kangaroos and koalas. Full Day – Moderate Walking - Memorable
Join us on an afternoon into evening excursion to Phillip Island, home to the largest colony of Little Penguins. This area allows you to experience a more personalised wildlife viewing experience. Limited to 150 people, the viewing platform provides a closer viewing of the penguin arrival than the main viewing stands at the Penguin Parade. Rangers are on hand to provide insight into the fascinating life of the world’s smallest penguins. Ideal for those people seeking a closer viewing of the penguins and more in-depth knowledge of their lives and environment. Extended Afternoon Excursion – Nature Interest – Unforgettable
Join the Summit climb, the original climb experience and discover 360 degree views of Sydney. The Journey - Latching on in the Climb Base below the Bradfield Highway, you will walk on catwalks below the road-deck until you reach the South-East Pylon. Here you will ascend four ladders to the start of the upper arch, all the while surrounded by the hum and buzz of Sydney's traffic. With the summit in your sight, your journey continues along the Bridge's outer arch on the Opera House side until you hit the top. After a summit celebration with your group, you cross the spine of the Bridge to the Darling Harbour side to make your descent to our Climb Base. Half Day - Day Climb - Unforgettable Please be advised that Sydney Bridge Climb has updated its pre-climb health & safety requirements for climbers over the age of 75. Climbers over the age of 75 can climb with a Certificate of Fitness, signed by your GP.
