Think every trail in the Great American West has been blazed by now? Think again, partner. Spread across 22 glorious days, this trip takes you on an incredible loop from beautiful San Francisco and back again with stops in LA, San Diego, Scottsdale and Vegas along the way. In between, you’ll have the chance to take a dip in the Pacific, raft the Colorado River, hike the Grand Canyon and stretch out under star-filled skies in the region’s top national parks. Three weeks of your life, a memory for all time.

Day 2San Francisco/Big Sur(1D)

Catch a glimpse of the Golden Gate Bridge on the way out of one of America's most popular cities. Stop in Monterey before following the winding roads of the coast and checking out Big Sur.

Day 3Big Sur/Lake Cachuma(1B, 1L, 1D)

Explore Julia Pfeiffer Burns SP. Continue the impressive journey along Highway 1, which offers breathtaking views of the classic Californian coast. Camp out at Cachuma Lake.

Day 4Lake Cachuma/Los Angeles(1B)

Be on the lookout for celebrities while passing a few popular sites on the way into California's most glamorous city, Los Angeles.

Day 5Los Angeles/San Diego(1D)

Enjoy a free morning in LA. Cruise through Orange County then along the incredible Pacific coastline to San Diego.

Day 6San Diego(1B, 1D)

Enjoy free time in San Diego. Try the fish tacos the city is famous for, and check out the Old Town.

Day 7San Diego/Scottsdale(1B, 1L)

Visit the Imperial Sand Dunes, the largest mass of sand dunes in California. Travel to Scottsdale, touted as "The West's Most Western Town."

Day 8Scottsdale/Grand Canyon National Park(1B, 1L, 1D)

Visit Montezuma Castle, enjoy a picnic, and cool off at Slide Rock SP. Continue to the Grand Canyon and explore this natural wonder. Enjoy a sunset at the canyon rim.

Day 9Grand Canyon National Park(1B, 1L, 1D)

Enjoy free time in Grand Canyon National Park.

Day 10Grand Canyon National Park/Lake Powell(1B, 1L, 1D)

Travel to Lake Powell and enjoy its deep blue water surrounded by orange-red cliff walls. Take an optional tour of Antelope Canyon.

Day 11Lake Powell/Monument Valley(1B, 1L)

Take a short hike to Horseshoe Bend, which is shaped by the Colorado River. Opt to discover one of the most majestic places on earth, Monument Valley.

Day 12Monument Valley/Moab(1B, 1D)

Magnificent views await in Canyonlands NP. Catch a gorgeous sunset at Dead Horse Point State Park.

Day 13Moab(1B, 1L)

Hike through the surreal rock formations of Arches NP. Opt to go rafting, mountain biking or on a Hummer tour.

Day 14Moab/Bryce Canyon National Park(1B, 1L, 1D)

Drive along isolated Scenic Byway 12 into the heart of the American West before reaching Bryce Canyon NP.

Day 15Bryce Canyon National Park/Las Vegas(1B, 1L)

Travel past towering cliffs and massive canyon walls in Zion NP, and hike diverse and exciting trails (weather permitting). Explore Las Vegas and stroll along the famous Vegas Strip. Opt to take a VIP party limo experience.

Day 16Las Vegas

Free Time in Las Vegas. Explore the strip, try your luck at a casino, or take in a glitzy show.

Day 17Las Vegas/Bishop(1L, 1D)

Visit a land of extremes in Death Valley NP. In the evening, opt to stargaze at a secluded hot spring.

Day 18Bishop/Yosemite National Park(1B, 1L, 1D)

Morning trip to Mono Lake; walk among the tufa towers. Discover Yosemite's peaks, granite domes, and giant sequoias. Marvel at majestic waterfalls, lakes, and meadows.

Day 19Yosemite National Park(1B, 1L, 1D)

Use free time to explore by foot, bike or shuttle.

Day 20Yosemite National Park/Petaluma(1B, 1L, 1D)

Trade in rugged wilderness for the vineyards of beautiful Napa Valley. Enjoy a picnic lunch, then opt for a wine tasting or a canoe trip on the scenic Napa River.

Day 21Petaluma/San Francisco(1B)

Drive across the Golden Gate Bridge on the way into one of America's most popular cities. Opt to ride a cable car over the steep hills, explore by bicycle or set sail into the setting sun.

Day 22San Francisco
