Day 1Reykjavík

Arrive at any time.

Day 2Reykjavík/Hveragerði(1B)

Explore the geological wonders that have shaped Iceland on the Golden Circle tour, including a walk in Thingvellir National Park and visits to the Gullfoss Waterfall and Geysir Hot Springs.

Day 3Hveragerði/Núpar(1B, 1D)

Visit the island’s south shore beginning with a walk behind Seljalandsfoss Waterfall. Stop at the black sand beaches then continue to Solheimajokull Glacier and view the infamous Eyjafjallajokull Volcano. Option to visit the Iceland Erupts exhibition.

Day 4Núpar/Fáskrúðsfjörður(1B)

Take an ice walk on Falljokull Glacier, then visit the scenic Jökulsárlón Glacier lagoon with the option to take a ride on a 'wheeled boat' for a closer look at the icebergs. Continue to the east shore for the evening.

Day 5Fáskrúðsfjörður/Skútustaðahreppur(1B)

Scenic drive around Iceland’s East Coast before heading inland to the northern lakeside village of Skútustaðahreppur in the Myvatn area. Visit the geothermal lake, Dimmuborgir Lava Fields and Krafla geothermal area. Option to visit the local geothermal pools.

Day 6Skútustaðahreppur(1B)

Visit to the mighty Dettifoss Waterfall and Ásbyrgi Canyon. Embark on a Whale Watching excursion in Húsavík - Iceland's whale watching capital.

Day 7Skútustaðahreppur/Akureyri(1B)

Visit the stunning Godafoss 'horseshoe' waterfalls before arriving in the town of Akureyri, Capital of the North.

Day 8Akureyri(1B)

Free day to explore or choose from the many optional activities in the area.

Day 9Akureyri/Reykjavík(1B)

Depart early, returning to Reykjavik. Option to take a culture and history tour of Reykjavik or visit the Blue Lagoon this afternoon.

Day 10Reykjavík(1B)

Depart at any time.
