


Dr. Nettah Yoeli-Rimmer
Historian, Journalist
Nettah Yoeli-Rimmer is a writer, traveller, and cultural historian with a deep understanding of the stories that shape Europe’s cities and landscapes. A graduate of the University of Cambridge with a degree in European Culture and Literature, he has lived and worked in France, Spain, Italy, and Belgium, and is now based in Brussels.
From Brussels, Nettah has worked in cultural policy for the European Commission before returning to academia to complete a PhD in Literature and Cultural Studies. His work bridges policy, research, and public scholarship, with a focus on how cultural narratives shape European identity and urban experience.
He continues to lecture, research, and travel widely across Europe, sharing his interest in the art, ideas, and histories that animate the continent. Alongside his academic and policy work, he regularly writes for a range of publications on urban history and architecture, translating scholarly insight into accessible cultural commentary.
