Along the way, you’ll sample amazingly fresh seafood in Anchorage, hike Denali National Park, investigate glaciers and be blown away by the awesome majesty of your surroundings. Day 1Anchorage

Arrive at any time.

Day 2Anchorage/Homer(1L)

Travel along the coast of the Kenai Peninsula. Enjoy a hike on the way to Homer.

Day 3Homer

Enjoy a free day in Homer. Opt to take a water taxi to explore Kachemak Bay or try your hand at a local sport– halibut fishing.

Day 4Homer/Seward(1L)

Travel to the Kenai Peninsula and explore the Kenai Fjords, viewing glaciers, sea bird colonies and orcas.

Day 5Seward(1L)

Hike to the Exit Glacier and Harding Icefield and opt to visit the Sealife Center. Or choose to stay closer to Seward and explore the city, take a short hike, or a boat cruise.

Day 6Seward/Valdez(1L)

Spend the day on a scenic journey to Valdez. Take the ferry across the Gulf of Alaska and into Prince William Sound. View Portage Glacier and Whittier before arriving to Valdez.

Day 7Valdez/McCarthy(1B, 1L)

Travel toward the huge and wild Wrangell-St Elias National Park, stop at Worthington Glacier en route.

Days 8–9McCarthy

Spend two days exploring the park and hiking around. Opt to take a scenic flight, go for a glacier walk or try ice climbing. Choose to explore the ghost town of Kennecott, hike the Bonanza Mine Trail or the easier Root Glacier Trail.

Day 10McCarthy/Tangle Lakes(1L)

Drive through Copper River Valley en route to Tangle Lakes, checking out the fishwheels (used for salmon) along the way.

Day 11Tangle Lakes/Denali National Park and Preserve(1L)

Journey to Denali and view Mt McKinley, the highest mountain in North America, en route.

Days 12–13Denali National Park and Preserve(1L)

Enjoy two full days exploring Denali National Park. Opt to get closer to nature with hikes, rafting or scenic flights.

Day 14Denali National Park and Preserve/Anchorage(1L)

Drive to Anchorage and enjoy an orientation walk of the city.
