National Geographic Explorer, Wildlife Conservationist

A National Geographic Explorer and Director of Central Asian Programs at Conservation X Labs, Tanya Rosen is a wildlife conservationist based in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. She has lived and worked across Central Asia and the Caucasus for nearly two decades, co-founding both the Ilbirs Foundation in Kyrgyzstan and Team Bars Turkmenistan. Earlier in her career, she spent seven years practicing international law in Europe and the US before transitioning to wildlife conservation in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem.
